FRIENDSHIP

Sometimes it takes a while to see
Just how you truly want things to be
When you Remember … the very first time
How your thoughts came together in a single line
That led you towards this new direction
Away from useless introspection
And as you looked outwards you came to be sure
You wanted our friendship, but needed much more
It’s just like when we connected mind and soul
You completed me, while I made you whole
As invisible to all eyes but yours and mine,
Grew a web of light that intertwined
And bound our spirits into one…to our perfection
An incredibly powerful, growing connection
That holds us, binds us and makes us whole
Connected heart to heart, mind to mind, and soul to soul
And reborn in that moment feeling newly created
Your heart sings out loudly, ‘At last…soul-mated!’
And at that same moment your thought starts to dance
As your mind fills with visions of love and romance
And now when your gaze meets mine, that sensation
Growing deeply within you intense fascination
A sense of being…alive and whole
Complete in body, mind and soul
And full of realization as your thoughts now come together
Our friendship was nice, but this is much better
